Avoiding Distractions in Prayer

Question: Is it permissible for a Muslim woman to pray while wearing a necklace or a ring, or to pray with a picture or a mirror in front of her? Please inform us about this, may Allah reward you.

Answer: It is obligatory for the Muslim to avoid everything that distracts him from his prayer or disrupts it. Therefore, he should not pray facing a mirror, or an open door, or anything else that distracts him or disrupts his prayer.
Likewise, regarding pictures, a person should not pray in a place where there are pictures hanging or standing; because this involves imitating those who worship pictures. This is one aspect. The second aspect is that if these pictures are in front of him, they disrupt his prayer and he becomes preoccupied looking at them.
As for the issue of wearing jewelry in prayer, this is also one of the distractions that occupies the one praying. Therefore, she should not do anything in her prayer that distracts her from it. She should delay wearing jewelry or gold ornaments until she has finished her prayer. However, if she does this and wears them, and it does not take a long time and does not involve much effort, then her prayer is valid. Minor actions do not affect the prayer, such as adjusting one's clothes, turban, or wearing a watch, and the like. This is a minor action that does not affect the prayer, although it is recommended for the Muslim to devote himself to his prayer and focus on it.
[Prayer and Menstruation]

Question: Is it obligatory to make up the prayer after the end of the menstrual period, like fasting?

Answer: No, the menstruating woman does not make up the prayer; because it was not part of the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to order the menstruating woman to make up the prayer. The prayer is dropped for her.

And for this reason, when a woman asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about that, she said:She said to her: Are you a Khariji? ! Because this question is one of the questions of the Khawarij,She said: No, I am not a Khariji,But I am asking, so the Mother of the Believers said to her: We were ordered to make up the fasting, but we were not ordered to make up the prayer.
Likewise, in the case of post-natal bleeding; because post-natal bleeding is like menstruation, it has the rulings of menstruation.
