The Ruling on the Child of Whose Parents Have Sworn Mutual Oaths

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question 17 from Fatwa No. ( 4091 )
Q 17: What is the ruling on the child of parents who have sworn mutual oaths? Is he a bastard or the son of a lawful marriage?
A 17: If the legal li'an (mutual oath-swearing) is completed, the child is attributed to his mother and not to the one who swore against his mother. There is no inheritance between them, as is authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
