Q: A man wants to marry his maternal uncle’s sister from his father’s side, where his mother is his maternal uncle’s sister from his mother’s side only. Is this marriage valid? Knowing that his maternal uncle will be the maternal uncle of his future child.
A: If your mother is your maternal uncle’s sister from his mother’s side only, it is permissible for you to marry your maternal uncle’s sister from his father’s side only; because she is not among the prohibited relatives in marriage. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
