Q2: There is a hadith that says: the maternal aunt is like the mother. Is the maternal aunt the mother’s sister or the father’s wife, and is her supplication accepted like the mother’s?
A2: The maternal aunt referred to in the hadith is the mother’s sister, not the father’s wife. As for the acceptance of supplication from them or from anyone else, that is up to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
