Marriage of a man’s paternal half-brother to his maternal half-sisters

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 8663 )
Q2: I have a brother from my father, and our mothers are each from a different tribe; my mother is from one tribe and his mother is from another. However, our father passed away, and my mother married another man and bore him daughters. They are my maternal half-sisters, but are they considered sisters to my paternal half-brother, or is he not a mahram to them, such that it is not permissible for them to uncover themselves in his presence? And if that is the case, is it permissible for him
to marry one of them?

A2: If the situation is as you described, then your maternal half-sisters are not mahrams to your paternal half-brothers. Therefore, it is permissible for any of your paternal half-brothers to marry any of your maternal half-sisters. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
