Q1 I inform your Eminence that I am married to a woman who has an aunt (the sister of my wife's father). Is it permissible for me to look at her and shake hands with her, or is it not? I ask you to inform me.
A1 It is not permissible for your wife's aunt to uncover her face for you, nor to shake hands with you, because you are not one of her mahrams. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
