The wife's relationship with her husband's brothers and male relatives
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa number ( 7778 )
Q3: How should my relationship be with my husband's brothers and his male relatives, and I, praise be to Allah, wear the niqab and they have not seen my face? Is it permissible for me to speak to them while we live in the same house, but we have a private section? And if one of them falls ill, is it permissible for me to ask about his condition?
A3: If the situation is as described, it is permissible for you to speak to them and ask about
their condition, and to talk to them about permissible matters, but without submission in speech or weakness in it, and without seclusion with any of them who is not a mahram to you. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
