There is no mahram relationship between a daughter’s husband and her father’s second wife

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 9826 )
Q What is the ruling on the prohibition of seclusion between my daughter’s husband and my second wife, who is not the mother of the daughters? Is she absolutely prohibited from being alone with him, or is the prohibition temporary, or is there no prohibition at all? Please inform us, may Allah reward you, from one who has been blessed with knowledge.
A: There is no mahram relationship between a daughter’s husband and her father’s second wife; he is a non-mahram to her. Therefore, it is not permissible for him to be alone with her, nor for her to travel with him, just as with other non-mahram men. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
