Q2: Is the grandfather's wife a mahram, and is the grandmother's husband considered a mahram for the daughter?
A2: It is permissible for the grandfather's wife to uncover herself in front of all her husband's grandsons from other women, no matter how far removed they are; because they are her mahrams. Likewise, it is permissible for the daughter to uncover herself in front of her grandmother's husband, because she is his foster daughter and he is one of her mahrams. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
