There is no objection to taking back a wife after khul' as long as it is not the third divorce

Fatwa number ( 21355 )
Q: A dispute previously occurred between me and my lawful wife (E. A. M. E.), and I was blessed with a son and a daughter from her. Since a conflict arose that led to this woman's khul' (divorce at the wife's request for compensation), and a sum of forty thousand riyals (40,000) was paid and received by her, and a legal certificate was issued to her with number (126) and date 24/6/1418 AH, and it became clear from this woman and her guardian that they desire to return to me, I ask for a ruling on this, and what is required for her return to me? May Allah reward you with the best reward, and may Allah preserve you.
A: There is no objection to your marrying this woman, from whom you were divorced by khul', with a new contract and a new mahr (bridal gift), if mutual agreement is reached between you on this; because khul' is considered a minor barrier that does not prevent marriage in the manner described, as long as this divorce is not the third of three divorces. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
