Going Out to Attend to Needs While Observing the Rules
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 6411 )
Q1: What is the ruling on a woman going out to the market to attend to her needs while fully covered in her hijab and keeping her voice low, given that there is no one to attend to her needs except the man, and he does not know what is required of women and the home as it should be? And if she goes out without her husband's permission, what is the ruling?
A1: If the matter is as described, and her husband has given her permission to go out to attend to necessary needs, and there is no one else to attend to them, then there is nothing wrong with that. Otherwise, the best of all good is for her to remain in her home and to limit her going out for things that are not necessary.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
