Q: Is it permissible for a person in a state of major ritual impurity to consummate the marriage?
A: The validity of the marriage contract does not require the ritual purity of the contracting parties from a state of minor or major ritual impurity, whether it is the husband, the wife, or one of them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
