The meaning of His saying, "And We have certainly created man, and We know what his soul suggests to him"

The Shaykh : Then Allah (Mighty and Majestic) clarified that He created man, and that He (Exalted and Majestic is He) knows what your soul whispers to you, what your soul tells you, before your tongue speaks it. Indeed, Allah the Exalted knows it. So beware, my brother, beware of hiding in your heart what Allah (Mighty and Majestic) does not approve of, for what you hide in your heart will be reckoned upon on the Day of Resurrection, the day when secrets are exposed. Indeed, the reckoning in the Hereafter is based on what is in the hearts, whereas in this world, rulings are based on what is apparent, because no one knows what is in the heart except Allah (Mighty and Majestic). However, on the Day of Resurrection, secrets are tested and what is in the breasts is brought to light.
