Q2: Whatis the ruling on the wife of a detained brother sitting alone in her own apartment with a young sonwho is two and a half years old, or sitting with her sister who is fourteen years old?
A2: If the situation is as you described, and she does not fear for her safety in living in this apartment that someone might break in and violate her honor, for example, then it is permissible for her to remain in this apartment. However, if she fears danger to herself from staying in it, she must move to a residence where she is safe. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
