Fatwa number ( 13657 )
Q: Is it permissible for a Muslim girl, after she gets married, to use cosmetics on her face and not cover her face for a month or a week, and what should the husband do with her, and what is the ruling of the religion in this matter?
A: It is not permissible for a woman to uncover her face after marriage, nor before it, in front of non-mahram men, absolutely. Her husband must teach her and advise her, and clarify the ruling to her; perhaps Allah will guide her. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
