Do the wives of the Companions observe hijab from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 3866 )
Q5: Did the wives of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) observe hijab from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when they asked him about the rulings of the Shari'ah?
A5: A woman covering her 'awrah and observing hijab from non-mahram foreign men is a general ruling, with no distinction between the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and other men. The basis is that the female Companions adhered to this with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), acting on the generality of the texts, in accordance with what was known of their preservation of the Shari'ah of Islam. The burden of proof lies on whoever claims otherwise to provide evidence for an exception or deviation.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
