Question:
The first message in this episode is one that reached the program from Riyadh, sent by a group of sisters, namely (N. M. Saleh). The sisters ask this question. The question reads: When must a woman veil herself from boys? In other words, what is the age of the boy from whom a woman is required to veil herself? May Allah reward you with good.
Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon whoever follows his guidance. As for what follows:
Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) said: [Al-Nur: 59]. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih al-Bukhari 6241 Therefore, veiling takes place after puberty. When the boy reaches fifteen years of age, or it is known that he has wet his bed, or he has grown the hair around... the coarse hair around the private parts; by this, he has reached puberty, and it becomes obligatory for him to seek permission, and it becomes obligatory to veil from him.
However, a woman should be cautious. If the boy is an adolescent who is approaching the age of puberty, let her be cautious, and let her veil herself from him. She must not be in seclusion with him, in order to avoid doubt and out of fear of fitnah (trial, discord or temptation). Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
