Educating Women with Seclusion

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 15885 )
Q3: I had a female classmate during my middle school years, but praise be to Allah, I have now committed myself to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in which he explicitly forbade seclusion with a non-mahram woman. My question is: I know that she has good and praiseworthy morals, and I want to guide her to some of the teachings of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) that I have come to know. However, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade seclusion with a non-mahram woman, and Allah (Mighty and Majestic) also forbade looking at a non-mahram woman. So what is the solution? Please note that I am in need of books specifically for women that I can provide to her so that she can learn from them.
A3: The matter is as you mentioned: the prohibition of seclusion with a non-mahram woman and the prohibition of looking at her. If you wish to advise her, you may speak to her about it while she is veiled from you, and without secluding yourself with her. You may also gift her a beneficial book or a beneficial tape regarding the rulings of her religion, or write advice to her, or use other beneficial means that do not lead to fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) and that achieve the desired purpose. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
