A wife eating with her husband's friend

The second question of Fatwa No. ( 10662 )
Q2: If I invite a friend of mine — whether single or married — to have lunch with me at home, for example, is it permissible for us to eat that meal together — the friend, myself, and the family —?
A2: Do not eat in the presence of the wife unless the guest is a mahram (a relative one may not marry) to her.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
