Looking at a non-mahram woman in Ramadan
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q2: Does looking at a non-mahram woman in Ramadan break the fast?
A2: Looking at a non-mahram woman is not permissible, neither in Ramadan nor in any other time; because it causes fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) and leads to committing fornication. And Allah the Exalted said:[An-Nur 24:30] . And if that is in Ramadan, the sin is more severe; because it affects the fast, but it does not invalidate it unless he repeats it and semen comes out of him, in which case he continues his fasting and makes up that day with repentance to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
