Farewell Tawaf
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 8349 )
Q: I went to Jeddah on the second day of the days of Tashreeq after stoning the pillars, and I did not intend to hasten my departure in two days, nor did I perform the Farewell Tawaf. I returned from Jeddah that same night to spend the night in Mina , and to perform the stoning of the pillars on the third day of the days of Tashreeq. Then I performed the Farewell Tawaf, then went to al-Madinah al-Munawwarah , and then returned to my residence in Hufar al-Batin . Does my going to Jeddah count as leaving the spatial miqat before completing the stoning of the pillars and the Farewell Tawaf? If so, what is the ruling that follows from this? Please inform us; may Allah reward you.
A: If the matter is as you described, there is no blame on you for what occurred. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
