Taking the mushaf out of the Haram
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 3863 )
Q4: Is it permissible to take the mushaf out of the Haram to read from it at home?
A4: Mushafs and books that are endowed (waqf) to be used in a specific place may not be taken out to another place, whether that place is the Haram or elsewhere,
except if their place becomes unusable, in which case they may be moved to a similar or better place for use. As for those endowed for general use, it is permissible to use them in a place other than their original location, such as a home, with the permission of the person in charge of the endowment. Moreover, there are many mushafs available, their price is low, and there is no necessity to take them out of their place. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
