Fasting and the ritual purity of a woman if she inserts her finger or something else into her private parts
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 9881 )
Q5: If a woman inserts her finger into her private parts for cleaning herself after relieving herself, or to apply ointment or a pill for treatment, or after a gynecological examination where the doctor inserts her hand or an examination device, is it obligatory for the woman to perform the full ritual bath? And if this happens during the day in Ramadan, does it break her fast and does she have to make it up?
A5: If what was mentioned occurs, it is not obligatory to perform the full ritual bath for major ritual impurity, and it does not invalidate the fast.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
