Q4: I would like to ask: Does Allah hold the insane person accountable for his words and actions?
A4: The pen of legal responsibility is lifted from the insane person; for it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1423Hasan (Darussalam) and the insane person is mentioned until he regains his senses. As for any destruction or damage that occurs from him, it is guaranteed to be paid by him to their owners. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
