The Meaning of His Saying, "And We have certainly created the heavens and the earth... and no fatigue touched Us"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said:
And We did certainly create the heavens and earth and what is between them in six days, and there touched Us no weariness. ولقد خلقنا السماوات والأرض وما بينهما في ستة أيام وما مسنا من لغوب
[Qaf 50:38]
This is among the proofs of the possibility of the Resurrection, which those who denied it rejected. For whoever created these vast heavens and the earth and what is between them in this brief period is capable of recreating creation in six days. "And no fatigue touched Us." What is fatigue? Fatigue is weariness. This is due to the perfection of the strength of our Lord, Mighty and Majestic. He created these vast heavens in this brief period without any fatigue or weariness befalling Him, Exalted and Majestic is He, because He is perfect in strength. And Allah, Mighty and Majestic, created them in six days, even though He is capable of creating them in a single instant. Indeed, His command, when He wills a thing, is only to say to it, "Be," and it is. This is because the wisdom of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, necessitates that matters be tied to their causes. This great creation of these vast creatures must have causes, some following upon others, until they reach the degree of perfection. And in the saying of Allah, the Exalted, "and what is between them," there is a proof that what is between the heavens and the earth is a great and massive matter, for He made it equivalent to the creation of the heavens and the earth. Meanwhile, we assume that there is nothing between them but that air and those stars. However, there are great matters between the heavens and the earth that deserved to be an equal to the creation of the heavens and the earth.
