The Ruling on Borrowing for Hajj

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 2448 )
Q2: Five years ago, my mother asked me to perform Hajj, but I did not have the money to take us to the noble sites. So, I borrowed one hundred riyals from a man, which brought us here. Some of my brothers met us and helped us with the rites of Hajj in every place. I am afraid for my mother, who is over eighty years old, that her Hajj might not be valid because of the loan. What is the ruling in this matter?
A2: The loan you mentioned for the sake of Hajj does not make your Hajj
or your mother’s Hajj with this loan invalid; rather, it is valid. May Allah accept it from you both and reward you for it, and reward the one who helped you with the loan and otherwise. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
