The Ruling on Hajj

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 6315 )
Q2: A type of people say: that Hajj is at the doors of their homes, and they add to their saying that everyone who goes to the Holy Lands returns with his heart empty of mercy, rather, more severe in hardness. And the majority of this group of people are able to perform the obligatory duty but did not do so. What is the ruling on the one who says this, and does the same verse mentioned in the fifth nullifier apply to him as well?
A2: Hajj is a pillar of Islam, so whoever denies it or hates it after the explanation is a disbeliever; he is given the opportunity to repent, and if he repents, otherwise he is killed. It is obligatory for the one who is able to hasten to perform the obligatory duty of Hajj; because of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves - then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.
[Ali 'Imran 3:97]
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
