A7: Ghalul is taking something from the war spoils before the imam’s distribution, which is not permissible due to the evidence from the Shari'ah prohibiting ghalul. This also applies to what is taken through betrayal from the public treasury, the income of endowments, the property of orphans, and the like. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
