The second and third questions of Fatwa No. ( 2720 )
Q2: I have about seventy riyals from an endowment for the mosque lamp. The mosque now has electricity, and the Ministry provides us with electrical supplies if we request them. Should I use the income I have to buy the electrical supplies, or should I only request them from the Ministry if what I have is insufficient? Or what should I do with it?
A2: It is preferable to spend the endowment funds available to you for the mosque lamp on its electrical equipment, and to prioritize spending it on this before requesting it from the Ministry. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
