The ruling on repeating the imam's words behind him
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q1: Is it permissible to repeat the imam's words behind him? And if it is permissible, when is it permissible? Because some scholars said: it is permissible in the case where the worshippers do not hear the imam's voice, and if they hear the imam's voice, it is not permissible. Is this correct, and what is the evidence for that?
A1: It is permissible if there is a need for it; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), during the illness of his death, prayed and Abu Bakr was to his right, praying with his prayer, and the people behind them were praying with the prayer of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
