The second question of Fatwa No. ( 6365 ):
Q2: A person came to pray and found the rows complete, and the person at the end of the row was a boy. Should he pull him to pray with him, or what? And if he came and found the worshippers in bowing, is it valid for him to pull the worshipper
who is bowing, or what? And if the rows are complete and he finds no one to pray with except small boys, some of whom are of discernment and others not, is it valid for him to pray with them in that row?
A2 : If the worshipper finds the row complete, he waits until someone comes to stand opposite him, and he does not pull anyone from the row. If he is able to enter the row or pray to the right of the imam, he does so. As for standing opposite boys, if they are of discernment, standing opposite them is valid; based on what is in the two Sahihs and others from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said:Sunan Abi Dawud 612Sahih (Al-Albani) This refers to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when he visited them in their house in the late morning. If they are not of discernment, his ruling is the ruling of a single person praying behind the row, and the prayer of a single person behind the row is not valid; based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Bulugh al-Maram 2:327 . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
