Counting the rak'ah in which one entered while the imam was bowing and bowed with him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first and second questions of the fatwa number 36
Q1: We see many people entering the mosque while the imam is bowing in the air during the prayer. So, when he said the takbir, the imam said: "Allah hears the one who praises Him," and this man was unable to say the tasbih in his bowing. Does he count this rak'ah in which he did not catch up with the tasbih in its bowing, or does he perform another rak'ah after the imam's taslim?
A1: One who says the takbirat al-ihram while the imam is rising from the bowing does not count this rak'ah. Likewise, one who says the takbirat al-ihram and then says the takbirat al-ruku' and bows while the imam is rising from the bowing does not count this rak'ah; because he missed joining the imam in the bowing by an amount sufficient to count this rak'ah, and he must perform a rak'ah in its place after the imam's salam. And one who says the takbirat al-ihram and then catches up with the imam while he is bowing and bows with him for a duration that achieves tranquility—this rak'ah is counted according to the majority of scholars;
due to the hadith:
when you come to pray while we are prostrating ourselves, you must prostrate yourselves, and do not reckon it anything (rak’ah) he has been present at the prayer.إذا جئتم إلى الصلاة ونحن سجود فاسجدوا ولا تعدوها شيئًا، ومن أدرك الركعة فقد أدرك الصلاة
Sunan Abi Dawud 893Hasan (Al-Albani)
narrated by Abu Dawud and Ibn Khuzaymah and al-Hakim in (al-Mustadrak), and due to the hadith:
Whoever catches a raka of the prayer has caught the prayer.من أدرك ركعة من الصلاة فقد أدرك الصلاة
Muwatta Malik 1:15
