A company that undertakes to rescue a person if his car breaks down in any location

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 7425 )
Q2: There is a company that offers individuals an annual membership for a fee not exceeding 150 Saudi riyals per year. In return for this membership, they undertake to rescue a person if his car breaks down on any stretch of road or in any location. They will transport him and his car to any place he wishes if they are unable to repair his car. It is known that they have many cars distributed on all roads, and they also have engineers available 24 hours a day to provide service at any time of night or day. Is this service considered similar to insurance in the case where no breakdown occurs for the individual during the membership year, and he does not need their services? And is it permissible to subscribe to the membership of this company?
A2: This subscription is not permissible; because it contains excessive uncertainty and gambling, and it is
of the same kind as commercial insurance.
