The questioner : He said: The honorable Shaykh, a student of mine asked me about the ruling on a grave in their house for a brother who had a stillborn child, so his mother dug a deep hole in one of the corners of the house and buried him there, and buried him in it, and he said: and I did not know about it until a few days ago. It has now been eight years. What is the ruling on praying in the house? Also, should this grave be dug up now, knowing that there may be no trace of it left?

The Shaykh : Yes, the obligatory thing is first: that he should be prayed over with the funeral prayer. Second: that we dig it up and bury him in the cemetery, because houses are not cemeteries.
