The Ruling on Praying in the House
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question in the letter from our brother Khalid Ali from the Republic of Sudan says: Is it permissible for me to pray in my house, or what should I do? Please inform us, may Allah reward you.
Answer: You must pray in the mosques with your Muslim brothers if there is an imam there whose religion is acceptable. If there is no imam, pray with some of your good brothers in your house or in one of their houses, unless there is a good mosque where you are able to pray with a righteous imam. In that case, it is obligatory for you to seek a mosque with a righteous imam, or for one of you to lead the prayer there, so that you can perform the congregational prayer and establish the ritual of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) with the adhan and iqamah. However, if all the imams around you are mushrikin (those who associate partners with Allah), if they all call upon the dead and seek aid from the dead and make vows to the dead, then you do not pray behind them. Rather, you pray in your house, or you pray with your brothers in one of their houses in congregation, if that is possible, until you find a mosque where you can establish the prayer behind a righteous imam. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you.
