He entrusted him with a sum of money, and he placed it in the bank, so the amount increased due to usurious profits; what should he do with this increase?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 8494 )
Q2: A man entrusted me with a sum of money, and said to me: This is a trust with you, so keep it. I placed it in the bank to keep it safe, and I did not know that the bank gives usurious profits. When I took the amount from the bank, I found an increase in it. Should I give this increase to its owner, meaning the owner of the money, or should I return it to the bank, or should I spend it on the poor?
A2: Give the amount of the trust to its owner without the increase, and spend this increase in the causes of good. We advise you not to return to placing money in usurious banks.
