The questioner : May Allah reward the honorableThe Shaykh : I am a man who is diligent in performing all the prayers in the mosque, but sometimes I miss the Fajr prayer. It may happen that three days pass without my being able to attend it, even though I sleep with the intention of getting up, and I feel very remorseful and anxious if I do not perform the Fajr prayer. This, O Shaykh, happens three or four days a month. What should I do? Please issue a ruling for me, may Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : The course of action is that it is obligatory for you to take precautions to wake up. Set an alarm clock. If you are a heavy sleeper, ask your family to come to you and wake you up. If there is no one in the house, ask your brothers.
