Q1: Is it permissible to distribute zakah to a young man who wants to get married in order to protect his chastity? Is there a difference between one who has passed the customary age for marriage and one who has not reached twenty years of age? And if he wants to get marry in order to serve his elderly mother, is it permissible for him to use zakah?
A1: That is permissible if he does not find the customary expenses of marriage that do not involve extravagance.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
