Q4: Some wealthy individuals have the habit of buying herds of livestock and sharing them with other individuals, taking them from them and grazing them in their homes. On whom is the zakah of this livestock obligatory?
A4: Its zakah is obligatory on its owner, not on the one who grazes it to take a share of its benefits, whether increase, milk, wool, or offspring. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
