Fatwa number (11063)
Q1: What is the ruling on a man who sleeps with his wife in the same bed, but no intercourse takes place between them, knowing that he will touch her with desire, but nothing comes out of him (i.e., semen)? Is it obligatory for him to perform the full ritual bath in this case?
A1: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions... After that: If a man sleeps with his wife and touches her with desire without intercourse in the private parts and without ejaculation, then the full ritual bath is not obligatory for him. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
