Clarification that touching the private parts does not invalidate the ablution unless it is done for the sake of sexual pleasure, with evidence.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : As for touching the private parts, it does not invalidate the ablution unless it is done for the sake of sexual pleasure, based on the hadith of Talq ibn 'Ali
That the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a man who touches his private parts during prayer, whether he needs to perform ablution? He said: No, it is just a piece of you.أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم سئل عن الرجل يمس ذكره في الصلاة أعليه الوضوء ؟ فقال : لا إنما هو بضعة منك
meaning any part of you. Just as a person’s ablution is not invalidated if he touches his leg, so his ablution is not invalidated if he touches his private parts, because it is a part of him, as stated in the hadith. It is also reported in the hadith of Basrah bint Safwan that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He who touches his penis should perform ablution. من مس ذكره فليتوضأ
Sunan Abi Dawud 181Sahih (Al-Albani)
Combining these two, if he touches it as he touches the rest of his body, meaning touching it without sexual pleasure, then there is no requirement for ablution. But if he touches it for the sake of sexual pleasure, then ablution is required.
