The ritual bath of a patient who fears harm to parts of his body from water

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. (11115)
Q2: Two days after the operation, I had a wet dream, and I feared that if I took a ritual bath, it would cause harm, without asking the doctor whether it would be harmful or not. However, I took some gravel from the hospital courtyard in a bag, and I would perform ablution because I was able to do so, then perform dry ablution in place of the ritual bath. I continued in this state for two days, then I took a ritual bath, but I continued to perform both ablution and dry ablution, since the water did not reach my entire body. Is what I did correct, or am I required to repeat the prayers?
A2: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions... And to proceed: Your leaving off the ritual bath for your entire body after having a wet dream is not permissible; rather, it is obligatory for you to take a ritual bath and avoid the water at the site of the operation where you fear harm. Therefore, you must repeat the prayers you performed before you took the ritual bath, and in the situation described, you must perform dry ablution for the site of the operation where the water did not reach.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
