The second question of Fatwa No. ( 7848 )
Q2: The time for the night prayer in Europe reaches approximately midnight during this summer period, and neither the workers nor the young children can bear to wait until they perform this obligatory prayer at its designated time. Is it permissible for them to combine it with the sunset prayer at the time of the sunset prayer during this period, and the dawn prayer is at four in the morning?
A2: It is not permissible to advance the night prayer to be combined with the sunset prayer for the reasons you mentioned. Rather, it is obligatory to pray the night prayer at its time, which begins with the setting of the red twilight. The Muslim must be patient and seek reward in that; because of the saying of Allah the Exalted:[An-Nisa 4:103] and the generality of the authentic hadiths from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) indicating the times of prayer. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
