The fifth question of the fatwa numbered ( 8290 )
Q5: Is it valid for a healthy resident who is overcome by sleep and misses some of the prayers to pray them as a traveler?
A5: It is obligatory for one who sleeps through a prayer while a resident to pray it in full, not shortened, even if he remembers it while traveling; because its obligation has become established upon him while he is a resident. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
