Smoking is forbidden and does not invalidate the ablution

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of fatwa number ( 3623 )
Q2: What is the ruling in Islam regarding some people who smoke, and then when they arrive at the mosque, they rinse their mouths with a little water, but do not perform ablution, claiming that they were already in a state of purity? We know that cigarettes are among the impure things, and impure things invalidate the ablution, but we do not have sufficient evidence for the correctness of what I am saying?
A2: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions... And to proceed: Smoking is forbidden, and whoever is afflicted with it should clean his mouth when he goes to the mosque; to remove its foul smell, and out of concern to ward off its harm and annoyance from the worshippers. However, smoking does not invalidate the ablution. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
