Hurrying in the Fajr Prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 9184 )
Q5: Sometimes I wake up late from sleep and then rush to pray immediately, but I pray quickly for fear of missing the time. And also for fear of missing the car that takes me to my workplace. Is it permissible for me to delay the Fajr prayer until the time of the Zuhr prayer and pray it a few minutes before it? Also, knowing that I have no time to perform the Fajr prayer if I go to work, is it permissible for me to pray in a hurried manner that compromises the pillars, for fear of being late for work if I pray
as it should be? Should I pray it correctly and without haste, or should I pray it when I settle down at my workplace with complete humility and deliberation, without haste, excess, or negligence? Please give us a ruling, may Allah reward you with abundant reward. But I have no time at that point when I arrive at work?

A5: First: You must set an alarm clock in your bedroom and set its time to before the Fajr prayer so that you wake up to its ringing for prayer. Or, if you do not have a clock that achieves this, instruct the mu'adhdhin, one of your neighbors, or one of your brothers to wake you at the time of prayer so that you can perform it in congregation at the mosque. Second: It is obligatory for you to be at ease in all the pillars of the prayer and not to rush in any of them, so that your prayer is valid, its acceptance is hoped for, and its reward is magnified. It is not permissible for you to delay it from its time, to neglect it, or to be lazy about it, for that is the prayer of the hypocrites. Let your eagerness for the five prayers in their times in congregation be greater than your eagerness for your work for your worldly life, and beware of preferring your worldly life over your Hereafter. Allah the Exalted said:
Maintain with care the [obligatory] prayers and [in particular] the middle prayer and stand before Allah, devoutly obedient.حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى وَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ قَانِتِينَ
[Al-Baqarah 2:238]
, and He the Exalted said:
(1) Certainly will the believers have succeeded: (2) They who are during their prayer humbly submissiveقَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ (1) الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلاتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَ
[Al-Mu'minun 23:1-2]
the verses up to His saying:
(9) And they who carefully maintain their prayers - (10) Those are the inheritors (11) Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally.
[Al-Mu'minun 23:9-11]

And He the Glorious said:
(14) He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself (15) And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. (16) But you prefer the worldly life, (17) While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.
[Al-A'la 87:14-17]
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
