The wisdom behind loud and silent recitation

The second question of Fatwa No. ( 5926 )
Q2: If I prayed without reciting aloud, as in the Fajr or Maghrib prayers, what is the ruling on my prayer?
A2: Reciting silently is a recommended practice (sunnah) in the Dhuhr and Asr prayers, in the last rak'ah of Maghrib, and in the last two rak'ahs of Isha. Reciting aloud is a recommended practice (sunnah) in the first two rak'ahs of Maghrib and Isha, and in the Fajr prayer. Whoever leaves off reciting aloud in the first two rak'ahs of Maghrib and Isha, and in the Fajr prayer, has left off the recommended practice, and his prayer is valid. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
