A1: The established Sunnah indicates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the Basmala in prayer before Surat al-Fatihah and before any other surah, except for Surat al-Tawbah, but he did not recite it aloud in the prayers where recitation is loud. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
