Q2: We ask your Excellency for advice that will help us in obeying Allah in this time, that we may take comfort in it and benefit from it, and that it may be a provision of taqwa (mindfulness of Allah).
A2: I advise you to increase in reciting the Qur'an, reflecting on it, and acting upon what is in it, and to seek assistance in understanding it through the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and through the words of the precise scholars of tafsir (Qur'anic exegesis), such as Ibn Jarir and al-Baghawi and Ibn Kathir and the like, and the explainers of hadith, such as al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar and al-Nawawi and al-Shawkani, while
being cautious of their errors, may Allah pardon us and them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
