The second question of Fatwa No. ( 19172 )
Q2: Sometimes I am compelled to lead the people of my village in prayer, and most of the time I deliver the Friday sermon from a book of sermons. I have, praise be to Allah, a standing in the hearts of the people. Nevertheless, my Shaytan overcomes me and I follow my own desires. I feel distress when I commit any sin, because I know the error, yet I still fall into it. I command people to stay away from sin while I am doing it myself. I am well aware of the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Baqarah 2:44] the verse. I do not know when I will overcome these desires, knowing that I am a young man and unmarried.
A2: We advise you to continue preaching to the people of your village and to increase your knowledge of the Shari'ah as much as you can, to stay away from sins and to strive against your soul in doing so, and to be careful that your words match your actions as much as you are able. And Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) says:[Al-'Ankabut 29:69] along with sincere repentance for what has come before.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.

Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?
A2: We advise you to continue preaching to the people of your village and to increase your knowledge of the Shari'ah as much as you can, to stay away from sins and to strive against your soul in doing so, and to be careful that your words match your actions as much as you are able. And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.
وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَAnd success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
